Adults at Covenant
Adult discipleship at Covenant Presbyterian Church is part of the church's shared life, centered on worship, Scripture, and growing together as followers of Jesus Christ. Our adult classes and groups are designed to support lifelong formation, encourage thoughtful engagement with Scripture, and foster meaningful relationships within the congregation.
Sunday Worship and Sunday School
Adults are encouraged to participate fully in the Sunday worship service with the congregation.
Adult Sunday School classes meet following the worship service, typically beginning shortly after worship concludes.
Current Sunday School classes include:
- The Apocalypse of John – Room 201
- A Nation in Crisis (Jeremiah) – Room 203
- Matthew – Room 204
- John – Parlor
Class topics change over time as classes work through books of the Bible; current details are listed weekly in the bulletin.
Adult, youth, and children’s Sunday School classes are offered simultaneously.
Weekday Bible Studies and Small Groups
Throughout the week, adults are invited to gather in smaller groups for study, prayer, and fellowship.
- Explorer’s Bible Study – Room 205, Monday mornings at 11:30 am
- Men’s Bible Study – Parlor, Tuesday mornings from 7:30–8:30 am (year-round)
This group meets for coffee, fellowship, prayer, and Bible study.
Wednesday Night Discipleship (Seasonal)
During the spring and fall, adults are invited to participate in Wednesday night discipleship as part of the church’s midweek life.
Wednesday Night Dinner is served from 5:30–6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Dinner is $5 for adults, and students and children eat free. Following dinner, programs for adults, youth, and children take place from 6:00–7:00 pm.
These evenings provide an opportunity to grow together as disciples through Scripture, discussion, and shared life in the church.
