Children

The Children’s Ministry (through 5th grade) at Covenant exists to glorify God by cultivating joyful, faithful, and steadfast followers of Jesus Christ who love God, people, and life.

We believe that each child is created in the image of God, is uniquely gifted by Him, and is given a heart and soul which yearns to know and love Him. Therefore, we are committed to providing a Biblically-based foundation which offers building blocks for spiritual growth and nurtures a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sunday School

The children (2-year-olds through 5th grade) will gather after the worship service (about 10:30am) in room 162 for an opening time of song and prayer. The teachers will then guide the children to their classrooms. Please be sure to pick up your children after Sunday School in their classrooms.

Nursery and Children's Church

All children are invited and welcome to join in the worship service with their families. A nursery for infants and toddlers is offered during the 9:30am service. Children's Church is also offered during the second half of the 9:30 worship service (ages 3-K). Prior to the sermon, the children and volunteers walk downstairs for Children's church in the Children's Church room located by the playground. A light snack, Bible story & craft are provided during this time.

Wednesday Night Programs

Wednesday Night Dinner is from 5:30pm to 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall with programs starting at 6:00pm. Dinner is $5 for Adults, and Students and Children eat free. Programs for all ages are from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

During our Wednesday nights together, we seek to follow our purpose to "glorify God by cultivating joyful, faithful, and steadfast followers of Jesus Christ who love God, people, and life." Together, we learn more about what it looks like to serve as disciples (whether in town or abroad) and share the Gospel.
